Terms of Service
Last updated 4 September 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Linkfold(“Linkfold”, “we”, “us”) for the service at linkfold.in — the bio pages, short links, QR codes, deep-link routing and analytics we provide. By creating an account or using any part of the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Linkfold.
1. Your account
You need an account to create links. You can register with an email address and password or with Google. You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough in your country to enter into a contract on your own — if you are under 18, you may only use Linkfold with the consent of a parent or guardian.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you register, for keeping your password to yourself, and for everything done through your account. Tell us at support@linkfold.in if you believe someone else has access to it.
2. Your handle and short links
Your handle decides the address of your public page, and each link you create gets a short back-half. Handles and back-halves are issued on a first-come basis and remain ours to administer. We may reclaim or rename one that impersonates another person or brand, infringes somebody’s trade mark, is used to mislead, or that shadows a part of the product itself.
3. What you may not do
Linkfold points people at other places on the internet, so what sits at the other end of your links matters. You agree not to use the service to link to, host or distribute:
- malware, phishing pages, scams, or anything that tries to obtain credentials or payment details under false pretences;
- content that is illegal where you or your audience are, including content that infringes copyright or trade marks;
- sexually explicit material involving minors, content that promotes self-harm, or content that harasses or threatens a person;
- unsolicited bulk messages, or links distributed through spam of any kind;
- destinations that differ materially from what the link title or your page leads a visitor to expect, or that cloak the real destination from us or from moderation systems.
You also agree not to probe, overload or interfere with the service — no automated bulk creation of links or accounts, no attempts to defeat rate limits or access data that is not yours, and no reselling the redirect engine as your own product.
4. Your content stays yours
Your profile, images, link titles and destinations remain yours. To run the service, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce and display that content — for the purpose of serving your public page, resolving your links, generating your QR codes and producing your analytics, and for nothing else. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for backups that age out on their normal schedule.
You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload, including any image you use as an avatar or link thumbnail.
5. Affiliate tags and disclosure
Linkfold can attach your Amazon or Flipkart affiliate tag to outgoing links, and can append UTM parameters you configure. Those identifiers are yours: you are responsible for holding a valid affiliate account, for following that programme’s own rules, and for disclosing affiliate relationships wherever the law or the platform requires it. We do not audit your tags, and we take no share of what you earn.
6. Other platforms
Deep links open apps such as YouTube, Instagram, WhatsApp, Spotify, Amazon and Flipkart. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for any of them. Their names and marks belong to their owners. If one of those platforms changes how its links or app schemes work, a deep link may stop resolving as it did — we will adapt where we can, but we cannot promise a particular app will always open.
7. Beta, availability and changes
Linkfold is in beta and free to use. We may add, change or remove features, and we do not offer an uptime guarantee. We will give reasonable notice before introducing a paid plan or before removing a feature you rely on, and we will never start charging you without asking first.
8. Suspension and termination
You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings or by writing to us. Doing so removes your pages and disables your links, which stops resolving for anyone who has shared them.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, that exposes visitors to harm, or that we are required to act on by law. Where the situation allows it, we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right first.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that redirects will be uninterrupted or error-free, that a device will always open the intended app, or that analytics counts are exact — click data is a best-effort log, not an audited measurement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Linkfold is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost audience or lost data, arising out of your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or ₹1,000.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Linkfold against claims, damages and reasonable legal costs brought by a third party arising from your content, your links, or your breach of these terms.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version, and we will notify account holders by email before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use Linkfold after that date means you accept the revised terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, except where the law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
14. Contact
Questions about these terms go to support@linkfold.in. How we handle personal data is set out separately in our Privacy Policy.
